You can use this interactive map to get information on some of the things to do near the condo, as well as in Boracay in general. Just click on any of the location icons for details (including travel times by bus).
Beaches and Hotels
Private beach
Oceanway Condominiums is part of a large development on Boracay. There is a private beach shared between Oceanway and 3 hotels. When the tide is high, you can walk out to your neck in white sand, like the beautiful station 1 beach. When tide is low, you can walk out with your snorkel gear and see some fish in the rocks.
The Tides in Boracay website will show you low/hide tide patterns.
The beach has some local food vendors as well as lounge chairs.
The private beach is a wonderful place to experience the beauty of Boracay beaches without the crowds on Station 1, 2 and 3 (white beach).
The beach is about 800 meters from the condominium, downhill to the beach, so uphill on the way back. There are bathrooms and showers there, so you will not have to rush back to the condominium.
Note: Cove 3 (marked with a red circle and X) is not available to any guests. The beach is being repaired.
Hotels
You can take advantage of the restaurants in the hotels. There is a 7-Eleven store at the Savoy hotel so you can get the basics 24/7.
Other beaches
Puka beach on the northern part of the island has beautiful turquoise waters and lots of palm trees. It is a wonderful way to spend your day. You can find a quiet place to lay in the shade and jump in to swim.
On the other side of the island from D-mall is Bulabog beach. It is famous for wind surfing.
Station 1, 2 and 3 (white beach) are the jewels of the island. The beach is several kilometers long of fine white sand and incredibly clean and clear waters.
If you walk down the road next to CitiMall, you will reach Diniwid beach. This is another quiet beach, and you can walk all the way from there to Station 1, 2 and 3 (white beach). You want to take this walk when the tide is low as parts of the path are under some water when the tide is very high.
Shopping
D’Mall
This is the busiest part of the island with many shops and restaurants. You can purchase fruits, vegetables, and meat there as well.
CitiMall
This mall has a Save-More grocery store, fast-food restaurants, and some other stores.
Robinson’s Mall
This is a new mall. It also has a grocery store as well as a department store (Chinese products) and a hardware store.
Boracay Talipapa
Talipapa is a local food market with fruits, vegetables and meat. The prices are reasonable, but similar to what you would pay in D’Mall. The market is about 25 minutes by bus or 15 minutes by e-trike.
Talipapa fish market
Talipapa fish market is a local seafood market. The market is about 25 minutes by bus or 15 minutes by e-trike.
D’Mall Souvenir market
There are number of souvenir shops along the beach between D’Mall and station 3.
Station 2 souvenir market
There is a large mall of souvenir shops near the Astoria Current at station 3. Access is from the beach.
Excursions
You will be offered many excursions when you walk along Station 2 and 3 on White Beach. I have assembled some pricing here with phone numbers for the tour operators. You can call and book or just choose someone on the beach. At least this gives you an idea of the pricing.
