Getting to our condominium
You have three options to get to our condominium. You can use a service like My Boracay Guide to bring you directly from the airport to our condominium. This is the most expensive and the simplest for you. There are a few other companies that offer the same service (Southwest Tours, Island Star Express). See the Transportation Costs table below for details.
The next option is to handle everything yourself which includes getting transportation from the airport to the Caticlan port, getting a boat to Boracay island and then an e-trike to our condo. It is not that difficult, especially if you use porters to help you.
Another option is to purchase a bus pass instead of using an e-trike to get to the condo. This often makes sense because the initial cost of a 3 day bus pass (400 pesos) is the same as the cost of an e-trike to the condo (400 pesos or more). The main advantage is you get unlimited use of the bus for 3 days.
Please see Klook for a description of the bus service. You can also pre-purchase a bus pass there, but you can also purchase it when you get on the bus.
The following is a detailed description on how to get to the condominium if you wish to do everything yourself:
Getting to the ferry jetty
You will need to get the ferry jetty after your plane lands in Caticlan. There will be several people offering bus rides to the jetty. There is also the option to take a trike as well. The cost of the trike is only 150 pesos, which I believe is cheaper than the bus options as they charge 100 pesos per person.
To take the trike, you need to take a short walk from the airport terminal down to the trike station by the road. You can always ask people at the airport for directions to the trikes.
At the jetty
Once you are at the jetty, several porters will offer to take your bags. I highly recommend using them because they will carry your bags onto the boat and help you navigate the confusing process of going through the terminal. Normally, I give the porter 50 pesos for their service. If you have a lot of bags, give them more. It’s at your discretion.
Additional costs
As a visitor to the island, you will need to pay an environment fee as well as other fees (see the Transportation Costs table below)
Arrival on Boracay island
Once you arrive, a porter will offer to take your bags from the boat. Take advantage of this if you have heavy luggage. The fee will be 50 pesos or more if you have a lot of bags.
There will be e-trikes there to take you to our condominium. It is quite a long ride, but you get to see the whole island. You should not have to pay more than 400 pesos for the trip.
Ask the driver to drop you off at “Oceanway, Cluster B”. My unit is Unit 3J on the 3rd floor. Just turn right once you get off the elevator. It’s the first apartment on the right.
Arrival at our condominium
Reda, the property manager, may greet you in the lobby and bring you up to the condo. If not, you can self check-in using the digital lock. I will send you instructions a few days before your check-in date.
You will need to provide picture ID so the guard can photocopy for their records.
